CULVER CITY, CA – Monday, April 24, 2017 – Saddle up with getTV, as the network presents a special 50TH Anniversary screening of the beloved Western adventure 40 GUNS TO APACHE PASS on Thursday, May 4, at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The film was originally released on May 1, 1967.
40 GUNS TO APACHE PASS features Western icon Audie Murphy in his final leading role, starring as Captain Coburn—an Army man tasked with bringing homesteaders safely to Apache Wells, where they will mount a defensive front against Cochise (Michael Keep) and his invading band of braves. With dissension mounting and the Apaches closing in, Coburn puts his life on the line, embarking on a perilous mission whose success could drastically change the tide of the war in favor of the military. Michael Burns, Kenneth Tobey, and Laraine Stephens also star.
