CULVER CITY, CA – Thursday, April 13, 2017 – getTV expands its popular daytime programming block this April, as the 2002 crime drama HACK drops into the 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT slot, starting Monday, April 24. The series has not been available on American television in over a decade.
HACK stars David Morse as Philadelphia cab driver Mike Olshansky, a former cop whose life and career were ruined by allegations of corruption. Desperate for redemption, Olshanksky roams the streets as a vigilante hero, teaming up with former partner Marcellus Washington (played by EMMY® winner Andre Braugher) to help the police force solve crimes and save lives. George Dzundza also stars as Olshansky’s priest and confidant. The series was created by David Koepp, the acclaimed screenwriter behind such cinematic favorites as JURASSIC PARK, PANIC ROOM, and SPIDER-MAN, among others, and features guest appearances by Oscar® winner Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Jane Krakowski, Amy Ryan, Matthew Morrison, and Abigail Breslin in just her second television role.
