CULVER CITY, CA – Thursday, April 27, 2017 – getTV pays tribute to the Golden Age actresses who left an indelible mark on film and paved the way for future generations of stars, with a special “Get Lost In TV” event airing Sunday, May 7, starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
The network’s overnight block puts the spotlight on eight in-depth documentary specials, compiling intimate home movies and interviews with friends and loved ones to give viewers an in-depth look at the lives and legacies of some of Hollywood’s most influential female figures. The block begins at 10 p.m. ET, with Hitchcock muse TIPPI HEDREN: MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION, with Melanie Griffith. Then, stay tuned for the tragic true story of LINDA DARNELL: HOLLYWOOD’S FALLEN ANGEL, with Roddy McDowall and Richard Widmark, at 11 p.m. ET; acclaimed actress and filmmaker IDA LUPINO: THROUGH THE LENS, with Gena Rowlands, at 12 a.m. ET; and cinema siren BETTY GRABLE: BEHIND THE PIN-UP, with Hugh Hefner and Debbie Reynolds, at 1 a.m. ET.
