getTV CONTINUES ITS “WALKER, TEXAS RANGER” 25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION THIS AUGUST WITH “WALKER’S JUST WATCH IT SWEEPSTAKES,” OFFERING VIEWERS A CHANCE TO WIN A COMPLETE SONY HOME ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM AND MORE
CULVER CITY, CA – July 23, 2018– This August, getTV, as part of its 25thanniversary celebration of the original network premiere of “Walker, Texas Ranger” starring Chuck Norris, will present “Walker’s Just Watch It Sweepstakes,” in which viewers will have the opportunity to win a Grand Prize of a complete, brand new Sony 4K Home Entertainment system.
Weekly prizes of $100 VISA Gift Cardswill be awarded to five lucky winners per week, with the Grand Prize of a Sony 4K Home Entertainment system, which includes a Sony 55” class 4K HDR Ultra HD TV, Sony CT800 Powered sound bar with 4K HDR, Google Home Support and Wireless Subwoofer, and Sony 4K Upscaling Blu-ray Player, to go to one overall winner.
In order to enter, from August 6 to September 1, viewers just need to tune in to getTV weekdays 2PM ET/1C to 6PM ET/5C and watch for the on-screen code featured on one of the episodes of “Walker, Texas Ranger,” then go online to walkersweeps.com and enter the code, along with their name, email address and zip code or text the code word to 48-4848. Anyone 18 or older may enter, with submissions limited to 10 submissions per week during the Entry Period, which may only be one entry per code word, per mode of entry (Website and Text). Entries must be received by 1:59PM ET on the day following the code reveal.
Five weekly winner(s) will be notified on or around the Monday following each week (August 13, 20, 27, and September 3, 2018). One Grand Prize winner will be selected on or around September 5, 2018. A total of 20 weekly winners, and 1 grand prize winner will be selected at random from all entrants. Weekly winners will be selected at random for each of the weekly Sweepstakes periods, and the grand prize will be selected at random from the overall pool of all entrants. If a Website entrant is a potential prize winner, he/she will be notified via email. If a text-to-enter participant is a potential prize winner, he/she will be notified via text message, and asked to send an email to entry@walkersweeps.com. Originally running for nine seasons on CBS-TV, “Walker, Texas Ranger” features martial artist superstar Norris as Cherokee crime fighter Cordell Walker, an old-school Texas Ranger partnered with a former Dallas Cowboy wide receiver, James Trivette, played by Clarence Gilyard Jr. (“Matlock”), who believes in a more modern approach to crimefighting which involves computers and cellphones. Sheree J. Wilson (“Dallas”) is assistant district attorney Alex Cahill, character actor Noble Willingham is Ranger-turned-restaurateur C.D. Parker, and for the last three seasons, Nia Peeples (“Pretty Little Liars”) and Judson Mills (“As the World Turns”) are rookie Rangers Sydney Cooke and Francis Gage, respectively.
